SEPTEMBER 2020 (TBC)
Nadagavathi 2020 - ITI Tamil Theatre Forum (Bilingual)
Second installment. The theme for Nadagavaathi in 2020 is sustainability. The definition of sustainability is the ability to provide for the present generation without depriving the future generations of consuming a good or service. The good or service in context here is theatre or Tamil theatre in Singapore in the midst of a larger Pan-Indian identity in Singapore. Several scales of sustainability from self, community, theatre by practitioners and theatre as an enterprise will be explored.
