Set in the context of the Japanese Occupation of Singapore, Tharuthalai Thirutham follows Karnan - a man with special needs, and his daughter, Thenu, through trials and tribulations. In the harsh conditions, Karnan's innocence and gentle nature touch the hearts of his cellmates. This local adaptation of the Turkish movie - '7. Koğuştaki Mucize' unfolds as a poignant tale of love, hope, and resilience amidst adversity.
